Purchasing & Delivery


Purchasing Online

Purchasing from the Haigh’s online store is convenient and easy. Once you find a product you like, just add it to your shopping bag. After you have added all of your desired products proceed to check-out by clicking the green button. You can make your shopping faster if you register. Registering will allow you to have easy access to your order history and status. You can make purchases without registering if you choose.

Your shopping bag will show the contents of your order as well as the final price of all products. At this point, you can still edit the contents of your order. Once you proceed to check-out you will add the billing and shipping information. You can also have the order shipped to a different address if you are ordering a gift, for example. After entering this information you will be able to add a complimentary gift card to the order and taken to payment. After entering your payment details you will be able to check your order one more time, review the address details and alter anything if necessary before placing your order by clicking the green "Place Order" button. For credit card security our online store uses Pin Payments payment gateway. Pin Payments product and website are subject to periodic manual and automated security audits which are conducted both internally and by third parties: their software, systems and procedures have been assessed and certified to PCI Data Security Standards.

If the order is successful a tax invoice will be emailed to your nominated email account confirming all the details of your order. A second email will then be sent to you with an Australia Post tracking number which can be used to check on the progress of your order.

Please note we may have the occasional product which is out of stock; when this happens we will endeavour to still send your order allowing for up to a 48 hour delay. If we cannot do so we will contact you to organise a replacement product or partial refund.


At Haigh’s Chocolates our aim is to process, pack and dispatch all orders as swiftly as possible. We dispatch daily, Monday through Thursday. However, demand can sometimes peak unexpectedly.

Please note that during periods of extreme heat we will hold your order and notify you by email when it will be dispatched. In warmer weather we use packaging methods to ensure your chocolates arrive in premium condition. If there is a problem with your order please contact our Customer Service team between 9.00am and 5.00pm (Australian Central Time) Monday to Friday on 1300 HAIGHS (1300 424 447). Alternatively, you may email us with a detailed description of the problem (with relevant photographs) to orders@haighs.com.au

In order to ensure any delivery containing Loose Chocolates is as fresh as possible, we will be packing these orders especially to order. Please allow a further 24 hours for the dispatch of your order.

Delivery Method

Haigh’s Chocolates uses the Express Post service of Australia Post for all deliveries. We currently only deliver to addresses within Australia and will not deliver to Australia Post parcel lockers due to the increased likelihood of exposure to higher temperatures.

We have also chosen not to dispatch on Fridays to avoid increasing the time your order may be in transit and exposed to extremes in temperature. For this same reason, we reserve the right to hold your order in our temperature controlled facility if we have concerns about the weather causing damage to your order.

When there are no specific delivery instructions given, Australia Post will be instructed to return your order to the nearest post office or depot to collect if no one is present to receive the delivery. Please be aware that Australia Post or their representatives make the final decision in these cases and we cannot guarantee product will not be left unattended at the given delivery address. Please make sure you arrange a delivery location where someone will be available to receive your order.

During Christmas and Easter, our busiest times of the year, the standard dispatch times may be altered. Christmas in particular can coincide with warmer weather. Please consider ordering early to ensure that you receive your order before your desired date.

Delivery Cost

For standard orders our shipping cost includes postage and handling. The cost is $15 AUD per order for personal orders shipped to one address only.
