Thank you for 100 years!

Alfred Haigh opened the first Haigh's Chocolates store in the Beehive Building located on the corner of Rundle and King William Streets, Adelaide on May 1st 1915.

On May 1st, 2015 Alfred’s grandson, John, and great grandsons, Alister and Simon cut a 100th birthday cake – chocolate, of course – to mark the beginning of a year of centenary celebrations.

At Haigh's we're very proud to be one of the largest ‘bean-to-bar’ chocolate manufacturers in Australia and in keeping with tradition we continue to hand-make artisan chocolate from the raw cocoa bean.

From our birthplace in Beehive building on the corner of Rundle Mall and King William Street in the City of Adelaide, we have grown to employ more than 450 people from manufacturing to retail in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney and online.

We want our staff and our customers to join our family to make this, the first year of our second century, a year to savour and remember.

Over the year ahead we look forward to unveiling new products and celebrating milestones and memories from the past 100 years through a series of special activities and events.
