Our flagship store in Melbourne is located at the fashion end of Collins Street, in The Block Arcade. The historic Victorian building is undoubtedly the most beautiful shopping arcade in Australia, with its magnificent architecture, majestic decorative arches and grand display window. The Tapping Man

Passersby and visitors to our Block Arcade store often express their delight at the sight of the famous Tapping Man.  Handmade in the 1930s, he greeted shoppers in busy Swanston Street for over 40 years by tapping his cane on the window.  He went missing in the 1970s but was later found and restored.  He was placed in our store by the National Trust of Australia in 1998.
