New 70% Cocoa Dark Pastilles
September 4, 2012
Our 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate can now be enjoyed in a smaller size.
Our popular 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate can now be enjoyed in a versatile smaller size with the launch of our latest new product, 70% Cocoa Dark Pastilles.
The launch also celebrates our ongoing commitment to starting with the bean. We are one of a few chocolate manufacturing-retailers in the world whose chocolate making begins with the raw cocoa bean.
These richly flavoured dark chocolate pastilles have been developed in response to our customer demand following on from our successful launch of the 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate Tablet in 2006.
The new pastilles are made from a carefully-selected mix of premium South American and African cocoa beans which are perfectly blended to create our full-bodied 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate. We always start with the raw cocoa bean then we roast, blend and create the chocolate that is distinctly recognisable as our own.
Our 70% Dark Chocolate was recently awarded a gold medal at the 2012 South Australian Dairy Industry Awards and our new thin pastilles are an excellent way to appreciate the complex flavours as they quickly melt on the tongue. They are delicious when melted in warm milk to make a rich hot chocolate and they make a perfect after-dinner accompaniment or afternoon treat.
The 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate Pastilles join our existing chocolate Pastille Range that includes Milk, Milk Peppermint, Coffee, Orange, Dark and Dark Peppermint flavours.
They retail for $10.20 for a 200g bag and will be available from Tuesday 4 September in all 13 Haigh’s Chocolates stores across Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney.
