Australian to the very centre

Fruit centres have always been a specialty at Haigh’s. Alfred Haigh became famous for his Fruit Chocolates soon after he opened his first store on Beehive Corner in Adelaide. That was way back in 1915. He always believed in sourcing the finest dried fruits in Australia, and today we continue his philosophy with The Australian Collection.

This unique range of products offers you the delicious tastes of native Australian ingredients – lemon myrtle, macadamias, quandongs, wattle seeds, native pepperberry and wild lime. Available in a beautifully designed 250gram gift box for $32.75

Strawberry Pepperberry - a buttery ganache with strawberry purée. Native Pepperberry from the Riverland adds just a touch of a zing, and it’s coated in delicious dark chocolate.
Wild Lime Jelly - native limes from the Riverland are used to create a soft lime jelly puree for the centre of this treat which is then coated in milk chocolate. The very full tart and citrus-y flavour of the native lime is a delicious contrast to the sweetness of the milk chocolate.
Macadamia Honey Nougat - a classic nougat made with premium Australian macadamias and Kangaroo Island honey. Available in both milk and dark chocolate.
Wattleseed Crunch - made from the seeds of a drought-tolerant evergreen wattle found all over mainland Australia. This treat has a toffee croquant centre enrobed in milk chocolate.
Quandong -The Sweet Quandong is a small tree found in arid areas of inland Australia. The brightly coloured fruit bourn from tiny white flowers has a tangy taste and can be eaten fresh or preserved. This chocolate is made from glacé quandong with a fondant filling coated in dark chocolate.
Lemon Myrtle - a tangy white flowing fondant centre, balanced with a generous coating of Haigh’s premium dark chocolate.
